Doha, Qatar – The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a strong wind and high sea warning for offshore areas this weekend.

According to the latest forecast, temperatures from today through Saturday, November 16, are expected to range between 22°C and 32°C. The weather on Friday and Saturday will start-off hazy, with some cloud cover anticipated in the evenings.

Winds will predominantly blow from the northwest, reaching speeds of 5-16 knots, with gusts occasionally peaking at 24-25 knots offshore. Additionally, sea conditions are expected to be rough, with wave heights fluctuating between 3 to 6 feet, and at times surging up to 10 feet.
