The Addis Ababa Science Museum in the capital of Ethiopia had a product launch event on Wednesday where Tecno’s most recent smartphone model, which makes use of foldable technology, was on display.

The business claimed that the introduction of its newest mobile phone is an important turning point since it introduces its cutting-edge new product to one of Africa’s economies that is expanding the fastest, with a population of over 110 million and a rapidly expanding consumer base.

“We are thrilled to be showcasing the Phantom V Fold model in Ethiopia. This is a significant moment for Tecno Mobile and the mobile industry in Africa as a whole,” said Alick Huang, Tecno Mobile Brand Manager in Ethiopia.

“We believe that the Phantom V Fold will offer something truly unique to consumers, and we are excited to see the reaction to this innovative new product,” he added.

The company stated that Tecno’s strong efforts to bring attractive, high-end technologies to emerging markets through its Phantom sub-brand are evident in the development of the Phantom V Fold.

The Phantom V Fold aims to deliver a premium foldable experience to new audiences by combining cutting-edge technology with bold style. It empowers users to express their identity and become innovators in business and society while enjoying a top-tier foldable device experience.

The smartphone features a 7.85-inch foldable LED display with a 120 Hz golden-size flagship, an aerospace-grade hinge for an ultra-flat primary screen, and a ground-breaking reverse snap construction that greatly increases the phone’s structural integrity.
