Date:

Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, will perform at the 2024 GRAMMYs on Sunday, February 4 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, US. He is set to become the first African to perform on the main event.

Burna Boy has not just secured a performance slot; he is also making waves with four Grammy nominations in 2024.

The categories include Best Global Music Album for “I Told Them,” the inaugural Best African Music Performance for “City Boys,” Best Global Music Performance for “Alone,” and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ On Top Of The World.”

This comes after his historic win in 2021, where he took home the Best Global Music Album for “Twice As Tall” at the 63rd Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony.
