The META HISTORY War Museum will present special NFTs from the “Incredible Rooster” collection to world museums, symbolizing the symbiosis of cultures and nations of the world. Each museum will receive a unique exhibit – an accurate digital 3D model of the famous majolica rooster that survived the occupation in Borodyanka.
The first presentation of NFT took place in virtual space in honor of their transfer to the Latvian National Art Museum and the National Art Museum of Ukraine as part of the presentation of The Incredible Rooster collection.
The surface of each rooster is painted in the style of one of the best paintings kept in the exhibition of the museum to which the NFT will be presented. Thus, two works of art, combining into one, symbolize the interconnection of cultures of different nations with which Ukraine currently cooperates.
“This collection should draw the attention of everyone interested in NFT and art to Ukraine. We want to clearly show how different cultures can mutually enrich each other. Likewise, in any field, Ukraine, our people, can bring new achievements, discoveries, works of art into the world context,” Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, noted.
The collection was created by the largest NFT charity project, META HISTORY museum, to raise funds for the restoration of iconic cultural monuments of Ukraine that were damaged by the war.
The Incredible Rooster differs from other Metamuseum collections in that NFTs from it will not be sold, but donated. Museums accept exhibits as a sign of support for Ukrainian cultural initiatives addressed to the whole world.
“It seems that talking now about the time when the restoration of Ukraine and its development will take place is something absolutely incredible. But volunteers and charity projects here are now showing that they are capable of incredible things. And we rely on the combination of NFT and art as a way to get the necessary attention and funds from philanthropists. With the help of world attention and the openness of museums to our initiatives, the cultural heritage of Ukraine will definitely be restored,” added VK, the founder of META HISTORY museum.
