Stepan the Cat Wins World Influencers and Bloggers Award

Cat Stepan, a Kharkiv-based Instagram blogger with 1.3 million followers, has won the World Influencers and Bloggers Awards in France, which recognizes successful bloggers from around the world. The event in 2022 was dedicated to raising aid for Ukraine.

Stepan was nominated for the award on March 30th, as he had raised over $10,000 for animals affected by the war in Ukraine. Stepan’s owner managed to transport him to Europe when the Russian invaders started shelling Kharkiv. He raised more than 300,000 UAH, which was donated to charity.

In November 2021, Britney Spears drew attention to the cat in her post.The publication had more than 1.1 million likes and almost nine thousand comments. Soon after, Cat Stepan had caught the attention of the Italian fashion house Valentino, who bought an ad featuring him. Stepan showed off a luxury handbag in the post, which has since received over 200,000 likes.

The cat’s videos on TikTok have millions of views and likes, and he has almost a million subscribers. 

“I’d like to share the news with you. I’m nominated for the most prestigious award in the Influencers industry – World Influencers and Bloggers Awards 2022 @wibaglobal taking place on May, 18 in Cannes. And it’s very honorable that it will be a fundraiser for Ukraine.” – Stepan posted on his page about the award event, inviting his European and US friends to purchase tickets and join the event, with all funds going to charity. Stepan also called on fellow Ukrainians in Europe to join them.

Cat Stepan’s popularity has grown tremendously, with his unique content and heartwarming story capturing the hearts of many around the world. His success has shown that even a furry friend can have a significant impact on people’s lives and bring much-needed attention to important causes.
