Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan at the Kremlin on Monday, according to the Kremlin.
The two leaders will engage in high-level talks focused on enhancing bilateral ties and addressing key regional and global issues.
Discussions will centre around strengthening Russia-UAE cooperation across multiple sectors, and also examining pressing international issues, including the ongoing situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
The meeting underscores the deepening diplomatic relations between the two nations, with both leaders committed to expanding their multifaceted partnership.
In addition to their talks at the Kremlin, Putin revealed on Sunday that both he and Sheikh Mohamed will visit a Russian educational institution that has benefitted from the UAE president’s contributions.
However, details about the specific establishment remain undisclosed.
Before the official engagements, Putin hosted Sheikh Mohamed for an informal dinner at his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo, where they discussed bilateral ties, the conflict in Ukraine, and the situation in the Middle East.
Following the Moscow meeting, both presidents are expected to participate in the BRICS Summit in Kazan, taking place from October 22 to 24.
This summit will bring together leaders from major emerging economies, further highlighting Russia and the UAE’s roles on the global stage.
