Northfield Academy and Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums Launch Partnership to Develop Creative Skills of Young People
Northfield Academy pupils celebrated the launch of an 18-month partnership with Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museums. The art gallery and museum visited the school to witness the impressive artwork created by the pupils. They will collaborate with the school to provide opportunities for the young people to showcase their work to a range of audiences and develop their creative skills by engaging with professional artists.
Showcasing Artwork and Treasures from the Treasure Hub
During the launch event, the pupils showcased their artwork alongside some of the treasures from the Treasure Hub, while also sharing and caring for them with members of the community. Additionally, the Travelling Gallery bus from the City Arts Centre in Edinburgh made a stop at the school, having previously visited several other schools across Aberdeen.
