Neurotech Ukrainian startup helps to monitor mental health by facial expression analysis

Date:

The co-founders of the Anima project, Roman Gabrish and Sergey Danilov launched a public version of the product that can scan the psyche with a webcam.

Ukrainian startup based on neurotechnology revolutionizes the way people monitor their mental health. Using advanced technology, webcam and artificial intelligence (AI) system allows users to analyze their psychological state in real time.

Gabrish says that the service will be useful when difficult for the situations: death of loved ones/acquaintances, loss of work, relocation or any other reason for mental strain.

“We recommend using our service to understand how much you have been hurt to prevent and avoid mental disorders, – comments Roman. – It is a kind of thermometer for the psyche”.

According to Gabrish, in this project, the co-founders are trying to bring neurobiological markers (eye movement) into a psychiatric diagnosis to make the latter as accurate as possible outside the laboratory.

This innovative system works by analyzing facial expressions and micromovements to detect changes in mood. It can also detect any abnormal behavior. The testing and analysis methods are based on iTracking technology and a scientific method for detecting attention distortion.

With the help of a webcam the device records the movement of the eyes of a person and determines how far the distribution of attention in relation to the stimuli of different emotional valence is shifted. This data is transmitted via the Internet and Google Chrome. Using this data, the AI system can provide personalized recommendations on how to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. The neurotech system is not just limited to emotional monitoring. It allows users to track their physical health in real-time and take proactive steps to manage their overall health.

The neurotech system also offers a variety of games and activities that can be used to help users relax and better manage their mental health. This includes interactive games and activities that can help users develop emotional resilience and better manage stress.

One of the most impressive aspects of Neurotech is the system’s ability to provide personalized recommendations. By analyzing the user’s data and behavior, the AI system can offer tailored advice on how to manage their mental health more effectively.

By providing personalized advice, interactive games and activities, and real-time data analysis, the neurotech system is helping to empower users to take control of their mental health and lead healthier lives.
