Brazil’s Lula Stable After Head Injury, Doctors Say

Date:

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s condition remains stable following a recent head injury, his doctor said.

The update was provided by his medical team, who have been monitoring his recovery closely.

President Lula suffered a fall at his home on Saturday, resulting in significant trauma to the back of his head.

According to Dr. Roberto Kalil, the incident led to a “small brain haemorrhage” and required stitches.

However, his doctors assured him that the injury had not worsened since the initial assessment, a sign that his recovery was on track.

Doctors Roberto Kalil and Ana Helena Germoglio stated that another control exam is scheduled for 72 hours from now to ensure the situation continues to improve.

Despite the injury, they confirmed that President Lula is currently able to maintain his regular work schedule, indicating his resilience and the stability of his condition.

The Brazilian leader’s health has been under public scrutiny since the fall, but his medical team remains optimistic about a smooth recovery.
