Africa Zone 3 Women’s Handball: Ivory Coast come from behind to beat Ghana

Following its start on Tuesday, the IHF Africa Zone 3 U-17 and U-19 women’s handball tournament proceeded on Wednesday, April 12, for a second day at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Cote D’Ivoire U-17 squad won their first game of the day against Benin, 27-26, on day two of the competition.

The U-17 squad from Ghana continued to rule the league as they easily defeated Liberia by a score of 52-14. This victory followed their victory against Benin on Tuesday.

In a closely contested game, Ghana fell to Cote D’Ivoire 29-33 after giving up a two-goal advantage in the first half.
