November 9 at 11:00 Kyiv time will be held Radio dictation of national unity – 2022. The date of the dictation was announced on the Ukrainian Radio by the member of the board of public broadcasting responsible for radio and television platforms Dmytro Horkin.
On the Day of Ukrainian writing and Language, millions of Ukrainians around the world will traditionally join the largest Ukrainian-language flash-form. The author of the text of this year’s radio station of national unity will be Ukrainian writer and director, member of Ukrainian PENG Iryna Tsylik, and will read his national artist, Hero of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva. Traditionally, the linguistics scientist, Doctor of Philological Sciences Larisa Masenko will join the methodical work on Radio dictation.
Radio dictation will sound throughout the country on the waves of Ukrainian Radio and Radio Culture. At the same time, the flashmob will once again go beyond the limits of the purely radio format: It will be broadcasted on TV channels and digital-platforms of “public broadcasting”.
The writing of Radio dictation -2022 is adapted to the conditions of military time. Also in different countries of the world will be arranged studios for writing a dictation for forced migrants and Ukrainians living abroad.
The radio dictation of national unity was launched by the Ukrainian Radio team in 2000. Since then it is annually held on the Day of Ukrainian writing and Language. Traditionally, the most active participants of the flashmom are schoolchildren, students and teachers of educational institutions, but annually the dictator expands the limits — people of different ages and various professions take part in it, participating in Radio Dictation on the mark of respect to the Ukrainian language.
