A New Role for the Actor

The 75-year-old actor will be playing the role of a retired sea captain named Howard, who develops a romantic relationship with a widowed housekeeper named Annie, portrayed by Brid Brennan.

Cosmo has expressed his excitement for his new role, saying that he was thrilled to be part of a love story set in a desolate part of Ireland. He mentioned that he was particularly drawn to the film’s exploration of the dynamics of family and relationships in later life. He spoke about how he was sent the script and immediately fell in love with it, particularly after watching another film that the director had worked on. Despite having worked in the film industry for six decades, this will be Cosmo’s first romantic role.

An Unconventional Casting Choice

Director Klaus Haro praised Cosmo’s performance in the film, stating that he was blown away by the actor’s ability to showcase a different side of himself. Haro also mentioned that he initially had doubts about casting Cosmo due to his previous roles as a character actor known for violent roles. However, the director was thrilled with the actor’s performance, saying that he was amazed to see him act and bring the character of Howard to life.

The film will undoubtedly be a welcome change of pace for Cosmo’s fans who are used to seeing him in more intense roles. The film’s beautiful Irish backdrop and the talented cast are sure to make it a must-see for moviegoers in search of a touching and romantic story.
