Saudi Arabia wins UN Public Service Award

Date:

TBILISI: Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Data and AI Authority, or SDAIA, received the UN Public Service Award for the National Data Bank and Estishraf digital platform at the UN Public Service Forum in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The win comes after an international competition that received more than 700 entries from 62 countries, from which the UN selected 12 winning initiatives globally, including both SDAIA platforms.

The award is the most prestigious UN accolade in public service development, recognizing outstanding government initiatives.

This achievement reflects the Kingdom’s advanced position in data and artificial intelligence, as well as the success of its national ecosystem in using advanced technologies to support decision-making and achieve the Vision 2030 objectives.

The National Data Bank enhances data quality and sharing among government entities within a secure environment, supporting a data-driven digital economy.

The Estishraf platform uses data and AI to support decision-making through predictive indicators and analytics that help anticipate challenges and improve planning efficiency.
