On the other side, Kenya’s Head Coach Josephat Irungu expressed confidence in his team’s abilities, having closely observed Tanzania’s playing style. Irungu believes in his squad’s quality, having devoted six months of hard work, including a ten-day camp in India.
“We have seen how well Tanzania is, we have watched their trial games and learned a lot. We are sure of our quality, for we have worked hard for the past six months. This included placing our camp in India for ten days,” said Irungu.
