A Landmark Investment in Egypt’s Food Industry
The factory, an ambitious project with investments exceeding LE 850 million, is designed to localize industrial production. The facility will span a vast 76,517.30 m² plot at Plot No. 507, First Industrial Zone, New October City, Giza Governorate. Operations are scheduled to commence on March 1, 2026, signifying a new era for the food processing industry in the region.
Advanced Technology and Local Workforce Integration
Balkan Food Industries is committed to transferring and localizing advanced technology to Egypt. By importing top-tier machinery and equipment from global suppliers in the food industry, the factory will introduce cutting-edge production techniques to the local market.
A notable feature of the project is its reliance on a fully Egyptian workforce for management and operations. This initiative not only enhances local expertise but also paves the way for the adoption of modern industrial methods, further boosting workforce skills in the country.
A Step Toward Industrial Localization and Economic Growth
This groundbreaking project is expected to significantly contribute to Egypt’s economy by reducing reliance on imports and increasing the value of locally manufactured goods. Moreover, the factory will serve as a benchmark for other industries, demonstrating the potential of combining advanced technology with local resources and talent.
