FIFA President Giovanni Infantino Arrives in Addis Ababa for CAF General Assembly

On October 21, 2024, FIFA President Giovanni Vincenzo Infantino arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to participate in the 46th Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, Infantino was warmly welcomed by Ethiopia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, CAF President Patrice Motsepe, and Ethiopian Football Federation President Esayas Jira.
