On his Facebook page, Klopotenko shared his idea of a borsch museum in Kyiv. He recently showed guests from UNESCO and Ukrainian officials his borsch-making skills. The group discussed the idea of creating a museum dedicated to the dish that would showcase different regional variations of borsch.
“By the way, there is already a borsch museum in Opishne. But what do you think of the idea of creating a museum of Ukrainian borsch culture in Kyiv? To have all the recipes collected there, and different interactive activities. A foreigner could go there, read about the borsch set, draw with beets, and eat. And he left with a complete understanding of what Ukrainian borsch is. And then he took this knowledge to the world.”

Klopotenko envisions that the museum would provide visitors with a complete understanding of Ukrainian borsch.
