Neil Chernoff, Chief Planning and Strategy Officer at British Airways, commented, “The USA remains a priority market for us, and we know these network changes will be welcomed by both our business and leisure customers, providing more options than ever before to travel between the UK and the USA.”

Over the past decade, British Airways has expanded its US network by launching six new routes, including Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Portland, and Cincinnati.

Looking ahead, British Airways has also announced new destinations and increased service frequency for the winter 2024 and summer 2025 seasons.

  • The Gatwick-Bangkok route will resume on October 28, 2024, with three weekly flights. This service will increase to five flights a week between January and March 2025.
  • New routes to Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah will begin in November 2024 and continue into the summer 2025 season, with increased frequency on the Riyadh route.
  • A third daily flight to Delhi in the summer of 2025 will bring the total number of flights to India to 63 per week, across five destinations.
