BTS comeback on Netflix: When will live show, return documentary stream in India? Release date, time

BTS, comprising of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, will stream its free comeback show at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, along with a new documentary leading to the making of their upcoming album ARIRANG, on Netflix. The streamer made the big announcement on February 3, leaving the massive fandom excited. While many said the BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang and BTS: The Return documentary will bring huge subscribers to Netflix, others in the ARMYs believe the streamer is possibly the best platform for a mega event like BTS comeback, given its reach in 190 countries. Through a social media announcement, Netflix revealed the date and time of release, it isn’t unknown that the streaming schedule on the OTT platform differs for different time zones and nations.

When would BTS comeback show, new documentary release in India?

Amid his anticipation, desi ARMYs expressed concern and curiosity about BTS’ streaming schedule for India. Though titles release on Netflix simultaneously across countries, Indian time can be calculated on the lines of its airing time in South Korea.

BTS: The Return documentary is a 1 hour 31 minute film. Its official synopsis on Netflix reads, “They’re back! BTS gathers in LA to record their “Arirang” in this documentary offering unprecedented access to the band as they enter a new era.”

Hamish Hamilton, known for helming several Super Bowl halftime shows, will direct the live event, marking a landmark moment for live-streamed music events globally.

BTS Arirang comeback show

The free show at Gwanghwamun Square is part of the group’s comeback, and the septet’s fifth studio album ARIRANG is their first group release in four years following a hiatus to pursue their solo careers and fulfill mandatory military service. As per reports, Gwanghwamun is set to draw over 200,000 fans worldwide, marking an unprecedented milestone in South Korea and the global K-pop scene. This will be one of the largest concerts globally in recent years, showcasing BTS’ incredible international impact and scale.

ARIRANG World Tour

BTS will eventually embark on its ARIRANG World Tour, spanning 34 cities with at least 79 shows across five continents. The tour begins with three shows in Goyang, South Korea’s Goyang Stadium in April before heading to Tokyo for two nights at its famous Tokyo Dome (April 17-18). It’ll then travel to North America, US, Europe, UK and more.
