Russia Foreign Ministry Says Pragmatic Towards New US Administration, Proceeds by National Interests

The Russian Foreign Ministry has commented on its approach towards the new US administration, pointing out that it is well-acquainted with the new US President and Congress; nevertheless, it is standing on the soil of sober expectations. The view of Russia concerning relations with the United States testifies to a commitment to follow the line of balance between cooperation and protection of national interests in an uptight way.

Anyway, the Russian Foreign Ministry made clear that Russia would interact pragmatically with the new administration, notwithstanding tensions and ideological differences.
