The Youth Festival 2023 “Be Inspired, Own Your Future” to celebrate, connect and empower Ethiopian youth will take place on April 29 – 30, 2023 at Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
The forthcoming festival will feature youth-empowering events including boot camps to develop skills in technology, business and entrepreneurship, communications, and youth health and wellness.
In addition, there will be a tech village, an art gallery, a market fair, sporting events, and a talent show with young performers from several Ethiopian cities.
This year, the festival will host more than 5000 young people in peace forums.
It is said to be the third iteration after two regional festivals previously hosted in Hawassa in December 2022 and Bahirdar in March 2023.
Amref is leading the event’s planning and organization in partnership with its consortium partners, Miella Events, the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, the Addis Ababa City Administration, development partners, and the business sector.
