Winners announced for 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards: Black Sherif dominates

The 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) was held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) on May 6, 2023. Ghana’s most famous and talented musical stars performed at the event gracing the stage with their authentic and soothing Ghanaian tunes.

Black Sherif was the biggest winner of the night, taking the highly-coveted Artiste of the Year award. He also won the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year award for his hit track “Kweku the Traveller,” Best Video of the Year for “Konongo Zongo,” and Hip-Hop Song of the Year for “Kwaku the Traveler.” Black Sherif’s collaboration with Sarkodie on “Country Side” won the Best Collaboration of the Year award.

Overall, the 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was a huge success, with Black Sherif emerging as the biggest winner of the night.
