Ukrainian creative director joined the Cannes Lions 2023 main jury

Cannes Lions 2023, the world’s largest advertising festival, has announced its jury members for the 70th-anniversary festival. The festival brings together industry professionals from around the world and offers them a platform to network, learn, and showcase their creative skills. Among jury members is Ukrainian Creative Director, Konstantin Schneider, who will be part of the main jury for the Industry Craft category.

Schneider, who has over 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing, is the Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Groupe Ukraine and Czech Republic and Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine. He has won more than 200 awards at various international and national festivals, including Cannes Lions, Andy, The One Show, D&AD, Eurobest, Epica, Red Dot, ADC*Europe, Golden Drum, and KIAF.

Great responsibility

“It is an extraordinary honor and a great responsibility to be a member of the Cannes Lions jury. And I am glad to be a part of this process again. Ukraine has already demonstrated its creativity to the world in previous years, winning silver and bronze lions. I am happy that my Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine team is among them. And I am convinced that the future of the Ukrainian creative industry will be even brighter and more promising.”

Sole Ukrainian Representative

Schneider became the only representative of Ukraine on the festival jury, contributing to the Ukrainian creative industry. Schneider is eager to showcase the talent of the Ukrainian creative industry to other countries.

The winners of the Cannes Lions 2023 festival will be announced during daily offline ceremonies from June 19 to 23, 2023. The judges will evaluate the best in various categories such as Industry Craft, Brand Experience and Activation, Creative Effectiveness, and more.

Schneider’s inclusion in the Cannes Lions 2023 jury is a testament to the talent and creativity of the Ukrainian creative industry. It offers an opportunity to showcase the nation’s creative expertise to the world and to further cement its place on the global creative map.
