In the 72nd minute, Djiku’s day took a sudden downturn as he received a straight red card. Initially, the referee issued a yellow card, but following a VAR review, it was upgraded to a red, forcing Djiku to make an early exit from the game. Unfortunately, this occurred shortly after his return from suspension due to yellow card accumulation.

Ten-Man Strasbourg’s Resilience: Vital Point Secured

Despite being reduced to ten men, RC Strasbourg Alsace displayed immense resilience and managed to secure a crucial point in their quest for Ligue 1 survival. The match, held at the Stade de l’Aube, saw Strasbourg face an already-relegated ES Troyes AC.
