Luxembourg and Cameroon Expand Cultural Cooperation

A delegation of Luxembourg parliamentarians recently visited Cameroon with the aim of promoting cultural ties between the two countries. The delegation, led by Gusty Graas, was warmly received by the Minister of Culture and Arts, Bidoung Minac.

Celebrating Cameroon’s Rich Cultural Legacy

During their visit, the National Ensemble of Cameroon showcased the Luxembourg delegation an impressive variety of music and dance from all four regions of Cameroon. The parliamentarians were deeply moved by the display and Graas expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome. “It is very important to deepen the relationship between our two countries. Especially since there is a very important Cameroonian community in our country, composed of 850 souls. Through these Cameroonians, we were able to get to know your exceptional culture. In Luxembourg, we love African culture,” he said.

Building Bridges Through Cultural Cooperation

The visit by the Luxembourg parliamentarians to Cameroon was part of efforts to promote cultural relations between the two countries. Additionally, the delegation discussed plans to build a cultural center in Lobo, Lékié’s locality, in the Central Region. Minister Minac expressed his appreciation for the visit and highlighted the importance of culture in bringing people and nations together.

The visit by the Luxembourg parliamentarians to Cameroon has paved the way for further cultural exchange and collaboration between the two countries.
