Renault Duster 2026 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh. Renault already revealed modern design, updated interior and powertrain of the Dusters months ago when it started to accept pre-booking of the SUV at Rs 21,000. The company will be offering several variants of the Dusters to cater different audiences. Renault Duster 2026 sits in a segment that is highly competitive with SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Tata Sierra and others. To recall, Renault Dusters used to be the most popular compact SUV in the country back in the day.
Renault Duster price and variants
Renault Duster price in India starts at Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top of the line variant is price at Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers will have options to pick from 5 variants – authentic, evolution, techno, techno+ and iconic. The variants wise pricing of the new Renault Duster can be found below.
Renault Duster engine options
Renault Duster will be offered three distinct powertrain options. An entry-level 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces around 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. A 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit, making about 163 PS and 280 Nm, will be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT). A strong-hybrid petrol setup (1.8-litre + electric motor) producing a combined 160 PS is expected to join the lineup later in Diwali 2026, paired with an 8-speed automatic.
Renault Duster 2026: Design highlights
The completely new Duster marries a tough, SUV look with modern design elements. It boasts LED headlamps, distinct eyebrow-style daytime running lights (DRLs), a prominent new grille featuring the ‘Duster’ name, and substantial body cladding that really highlights its off-road capability. For the Indian market, this model also incorporates specific features such as pronounced wheel arches and a horizontal LED rear light bar, which distinguishes it from the version sold globally.
