Prince William Visits Poland to Support Ukrainian Refugees

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, made a visit to Poland on Thursday, where he paid homage to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw and met with Polish President Andrzej Duda to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Also he visited a refugee center where he spoke with volunteers and Ukrainian refugees.

Honoring Polish Military and Society

During his visit, Prince William laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, following in the footsteps of his late grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. He was joined at the ceremony by members of the Polish Armed Forces. Afterward, he met with President Duda to discuss the impact of the war in Ukraine on Polish society and the need for ongoing support for the Ukrainian people.

The center provides free meals, Polish language lessons, psychological support, and employment assistance to the 300 Ukrainian women and children staying there. They also have a free store for clothes and hygiene products.
