McDonald’s Continues to Reopen Restaurants in Ukraine

Date:

McDonald’s plans to open new restaurants in several cities in Ukraine as part of its ongoing efforts to support local communities and contribute to the country’s economy. The chain’s press service confirmed that new locations will open in Odesa in March, followed by Dnipro and other cities in April.

New Restaurants to Support Local Communities

McDonald’s is committed to supporting local communities in Ukraine, which is why the company has decided to open new restaurants in Odesa and Dnipro. The company believes that the new locations will not only bring back favorite dishes and familiar service but also contribute to community development and the local economy. The company has been monitoring the security situation closely and plans to implement enhanced security protocols in all open establishments to ensure the safety of its customers and employees.

Recovery Efforts

The next stage of recovery requires the restoration of supply chains, including logistics, and thus takes more time. The company is working hard to solve this isue. The plans to open new restaurants in Odesa and Dnipro are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support local communities and contribute to the country’s economy. By reopening each new restaurant, the company is  providing job opportunities. McDonald’s has reopened more than 60% of its restaurants in the center and west of the country since September last year, responding to customer requests and supporting employees. These new restaurants mark a significant milestone for the company, as it has not operated in these cities since within the last year.

The chain’s first location in Ukraine opened in Kyiv on May 24, 1997. McDonald’s has already commented on social media users’ reports that a McDrive drive-thru is being repaired at the 5th station of Fontan in Odesa, probably in preparation for the opening. The exact opening dates for the new restaurants will be announced later, and the company’s plans may be adjusted according to the situation in the cities and regions.
