Ukrainians have created eco-friendly device

Date:

Ukrainian company FuelWell presented to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov a device that reduces fuel consumption and emissions of harmful substances.

How it works and how much it saves

According to the authors of the project, FuelWell is an innovative ready-2-use fuel catalyst technology for internal combustion engines, designed to help modern businesses reduce the carbon footprint from automobile transport.

FuelWell is an additional hardware device connected to the fuel system for various gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines.

In addition to significantly reducing CO2 emissions, FuelWell technology reduces emissions of carcinogens and particulate matter in exhaust gases to 90%, and significantly optimizes fuel consumption.

The internal catalytic effect of FuelWell leads to complete fuel combustion, reducing emissions of harmful substances such as CO- by 39%, CO2 by 15%, NOx by 35%, and PM (soot) by 90%. In addition, FuelWell reduces fuel consumption by at least 10%.

When the fuel passes through the internal cassette of the device, a catalytic process occurs, whereby diesel or petrol fuel burns more efficiently and completely, reducing emissions of harmful substances. FuelWell changes the physical state of fuel molecules, the chemical composition of fuel does not change.

You can install the device in any form of transport. It was tested even on the ship and drone.

The current system of taxation of CO2 emissions in Ukraine does not encourage the implementation of energy efficiency measures and the transition to renewable energy sources. In the coming years, Ukraine will face this challenge due to the introduction of the European Green Deal in the EU, which provides for an additional duty or tax for goods from countries with a low carbon tax burden – the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The EU is not only introducing internal changes, but also creating a cleaner space of neighboring countries around its borders.

By developing eco-friendly technologies and creating such start-ups, Ukrainians are contributing to a green and sustainable future.
