Iran fires more missiles at Israel after US President Donald Trump claims that Washington has destroyed the Iranian military and is close to achieving its war objectives.

Trump’s address to the nation came hours after he claimed Iran had asked for a ceasefire, a claim Tehran denied.

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has told the US public his country has no hostility towards the people of the US, Europe or its neighbours.
