Saudi Arabia Launches National Tourism Investment Platform for SMEs

Saudi Arabia has launched a national tourism investment platform designed to enable small and medium enterprises to participate more actively in the Kingdom’s fast-growing tourism sector. The platform provides a centralized gateway for financing access, licensing support, and digital business tools tailored to tourism-related ventures.

The initiative targets hospitality services, travel operators, cultural experiences, eco-tourism projects, and event management businesses. SMEs will gain access to advisory services, simplified regulatory processes, and partnerships with larger tourism developers.

Officials emphasized that diversifying tourism participation is essential to creating sustainable growth and local employment. By empowering SMEs, the platform aims to broaden tourism offerings beyond flagship projects and international hotel chains.

The platform also integrates data analytics and digital marketing tools to help small businesses understand demand trends and reach domestic and international visitors more effectively.
