Russian forces launched a “massive” combined assault of missile and drone attacks overnight, targeting major Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure across several regions, including Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa Oblast. Ukrainian officials confirmed that the strike package utilized a mixture of Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones and various cruise missiles, reflecting Russia’s continued strategy of overwhelming air defenses through coordinated, multi-platform attacks. The primary targets of the overnight offensive were once again Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure assets.
