KSrelief Expands Global Reach with Humanitarian Initiatives

Date:

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched a series of humanitarian programs across three countries this week, targeting medical, economic, and food-security needs. In Port Sudan, KSrelief’s medical teams initiated a voluntary plastic surgery campaign to treat burns and congenital deformities. Seventeen volunteer doctors and specialists have examined 23 cases and successfully performed 25 complex surgical operations, part of the center’s medical volunteer program aimed at bringing advanced care to underserved regions.

In Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate, KSrelief is addressing unemployment and economic challenges through its career paths project. The initiative provided vocational kits to 80 young men and women, equipping them with the skills and tools to start small, income-generating businesses. Officials highlighted that the program seeks to improve living standards and foster self-reliance, offering sustainable solutions beyond immediate aid.

Meanwhile, in Sidon, Lebanon, KSrelief distributed 773 food parcels, reaching 3,865 individuals in disadvantaged communities. The food aid forms part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to mitigate the impact of economic and political crises on vulnerable families. Through these coordinated initiatives, KSrelief continues to strengthen its global humanitarian presence, supporting communities in need with both immediate relief and long-term development programs.
