TotalEnergies U23 AFCON draw: Hosts Morocco drawn alongside Ghana, Congo and Guinea

Hosts Morocco have been drawn alongside Ghana, Guinea, and Congo in the TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2023 semi-finals.

On Friday, African superstars Patrick Mboma and Aziz Bouderbala attended the draw in Rabat, Morocco.

Morocco will play Ghana in the final tournament opener of the TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.

The match will kick off at 21:00 local time (20:00 GMT).

Morocco is grouped in Group A alongside Ghana, Congo, and Guinea. Holders Egypt, Mali, Gabon, and Niger are in Group B, which promises to be a high-flying spectacle.

The TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2023 will be held in Rabat and Tangier from June 24 to July 8, 2023.

Group A games will be hosted in Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, while Group B games will be staged at Tangier’s Grand Stade de Tanger.



The first three nations will be guaranteed a place in the Summer Olympics in 2024.
