Ireland’s Biggest Online Art Sale: The Artists’ Identities are Kept Secret

Date:

The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is hosting Incognito 2023, Ireland’s biggest online art sale, on Wednesday, April 26th. This event is returning with a massive auction featuring postcard-sized artworks. Each artwork is an original piece and priced at just €65, no matter who the artist is. The proceeds from the sale will go towards The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.

Over 1,000 artists from all over Ireland, the UK, Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand are participating in this year’s Incognito event. The artist’s identity is kept top secret until after the sale closes. Prospective buyers have no idea who created their favourite postcard-sized artwork until the collection has sold out and the artists are revealed.

Established artists such as Maser, Una Sealy RHA, Sylvia Parkinson Brown, Abigail O’Brien, Peter Curling, Fergus Martin, Mo Kelly and Martin Gale will be participating in this year’s event. Celebrities including Ronnie Wood, Mark Feehily, Mary Black, Brian Kennedy, Helen Steele, Don O’Neill, Paul & William Costelloe, Norma Sheahan, and Eimear ‘The Voice’ Quinn are also taking part.

Positive Impact of Incognito

Incognito has been running for seven years, and to date, it has raised over €860,000 to support Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. This equates to 51,025 hours of in-home nursing care and respite support. The charity is hoping that the funds generated in 2023 will bring the total amount raised to €1 million.

The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation provides nursing care and practical support for families in need. With a large quantity of artists participating from various parts of the world, the sale promises to be a diverse and exciting showcase of talent. Incognito 2023 is a way to support charity while adding to one’s art collection.
